2014 Oscars: The 6 Well-Groomed Men That Stole the Show

by Matthew Taylor Ruggieri on March 2, 2014.

1. Jared Leto

Jared Leto’s rock star locks stole the stage tonight. If you’re going to grow hair that long, conditioning is a must. Prevent scraggly, split ends with Apivita Conditioner for Dry Hair. It leaves hair looking healthy and strong. To lightly style long hair and fight frizz, use a dab of Jack Black Sleek Finish Texture Cream. When sporting long hair, it’s a good idea to keep any facial hair looking trim, rather than grizzly.

2. Jason Sudeikis

Jason Sudeikis was a dapper dad-to-be on tonight’s red carpet. We loved the way he balanced a clean, classic hairstyle with a more rugged beard. To give medium length hair lots of volume that just looks naturally perfect, try Lock Stock & Barrel Pucka Grooming Crème. Keep mustache whiskers tamed with a tiny bit of Beardbrand Spiced Citrus Mustache Wax. It holds hairs in place and smells like vanilla, clove and grapefruit.

3. Matthew McConaughey

Alright, alright, alright, Matthew McConaughey. Mr. McConaughey looked classically polished this year. His naturally wavy hair was held in place with a whole lot of shine. To steal his look, we recommend using Imperial Barber Products Classic Pomade. It gives super strong hold that lasts all evening, adds shine and is perfect for taming curly hair. For an ultra smooth shave, Port Products Face Saving Shave Formula will get you as close as possible while protecting against nicks and irritation.

4. Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper left the 70s style to American Hustle and showed up tonight with a modern, messy style that works even in a tux. Get his cool, tousled look with Baxter of California’s Hard Cream Pomade. It’s a lightweight, firm-hold product that gives hair a good amount of texture and a natural finish. Freshen up scruff with Beardbrand Tree Ranger Beard Oil. It helps keep facial hair shiny and conditioned and smells rugged like eucalyptus, cedar and pine.

5. Leonardo DiCaprio

It’s no surprise that once again Leo looked great. Tonight he was more Gatsby than Wolf of Wall Street, with a 1920s inspired, slicked back style. Use Grant’s Golden Brand Pomade to get the same classic wet look with a clear-cut side part. It gives hair high gloss, very strong hold and can be adjusted with the touch of a comb throughout the evening as needed.

6. Chiwetel Ejiofor

Sophisticated Mr. Ejiofor looked camera ready tonight with his clean-cut style. Keep curly hair shiny with Jack Black MP 10 Nourishing Oil, a versatile, nutrient packed oil that gives hair and skin healthy hydration. For Chiwetel Ejiofor’s smoothly shaved skin, use Jack Black Beard Lube, which conditions coarse facial hair for less tugging and irritation while shaving. Urth Skin Solutions for Men’s Post Shave Elixir also helps fight razor burn and bumps.
