Hey, Eagles. I have a quick suggestion for you: START MICHAEL VICK.
I know you have some loyalties to Kevin Kolb. You offered him the starting quarterback spot over the potentially hall of famer Donovan McNabb. The QB who only resurrected your franchise with five NFC Championship appearances and a memorable super bowl. The QB, who last year, despite all the criticism, took the Eagles to the playoffs again, like so many years prior, despite having a non-existent running game and a receiving core consisting of third string wide-outs. Yea, good thing you got rid of McNabb. He sucked.
Oh and I agree, Kevin Kolb’s admirably inadequate career of four touchdowns and seven interceptions is promising if not prophetic of his blossoming into an intimidating NFC East threat. Have you seen the guy out on the field? He looks like the grouchy veteran who couldn’t even get the start over the backup rookie drafted in the 8th round and now that everyone else is injured has his shot at failure.
Here are the facts: Michael Vick is explosive, wildly talented, he offers a multifarious offensive attack, he is proven, he murdered dogs, the crowd loves him, he is a weapon in today’s game.
Eagles, Michael Vick is the key to your success this year. Make the move now, before your season is lost. That’s the word.
