Description
Julie wants to take a lovely photograph of her breakfast. By the time she gets it right, the toast is cold and it’s nearly lunchtime. Jason is playing a game. He’ll be with her in just a minute. He says that quite a lot.
A walk offers the chance to enjoy a beautiful sunset, provided Julie can get herself and the sun into the same photograph. Later, they put their screens down, make a cup of tea and discover they still quite like talking to each other.
Then Julie’s phone goes ping.
Julie and Jason in the 2020s is a gently sarcastic illustrated comedy about gaming, scrolling and the small absurdities of life online. Told in short, deceptively simple sentences, it’s for anyone who has ever said “just one more game” or made somebody wait while they took a picture of their lunch.
